To say I am beyond excited is an understatement. User groups have always had a special place in my heart. Back in my Autotask days, I had the privilege of running the very first PSA user group, and from that moment I discovered a real passion for bringing people together, face to face, in a community setting. There’s something truly powerful about peers sharing experiences, ideas, and challenges in the same room—it goes far beyond what can ever be achieved through webinars or online forums.
The very first Independent HaloPSA User Group took place around 18 months ago in London. Fourteen of us gathered, shared insights, swapped stories, and built connections that went well beyond the event itself. It proved there’s a real appetite for MSPs to collaborate in this way.
This time, the plan is bigger and bolder. We’re aiming to double attendance, and the ambition is to make these gatherings quarterly. That way, the user group doesn’t just become a one-off highlight, but a regular opportunity for knowledge-sharing, problem-solving, and community building.
One of the things I’m most proud of is that this user group isn’t limited to HaloPSA customers. It’s open to all MSPs, whether or not you use Halo. Why? Because the conversations that matter—about processes, tools, best practices, and scaling challenges—are universal. And the more diverse the voices in the room, the richer the discussions will be.
So, whether you’re a HaloPSA user looking to swap tips, an MSP considering the platform, or simply someone passionate about learning and networking with peers, this group is for you.
Community has always been at the heart of progress in our industry, and I can’t wait to see how this next chapter unfolds.
